City Guide Photos  — 2 years ago

I’m chuffed! My picture of the Goethe Institute has been included in the Schmap Prague Guide. As a keen amateur photographer who has no pretention to ever make money out of my pictures, I find it very rewarding that some of them might be used by other people in any way shape or form. And anyway, Prague is so beautiful that it is difficult not to take good photographs while out there.

Beware of Prague as it might steal your heart. The whole city is a work of art. Be awed by the majesty of the castle that dominates it. Lose yourself in the maze of streets of the old town. Delight in the architecture where old and new stand side by side in harmony. Wander around a park to stumble on a choir in full flow. Take a leisurly break on the banks of the river and enjoy the national drink: cold beer. Awaken the child in you in the puppet shops. Spend the evening enjoying music from Mozart and other grand masters at a concert. Dine of hearty cabbage, dumplings and pork, washed away by more nice cold Czech beer, to the sound of live jazz. While the night away in some of the best nightclubs in Central Europe.

Prague is one of those places that cannot be described, it has to be experienced. So stop reading this, book a flight, go see for yourself and above all: enjoy!
