Why I recommend this place to visitors — 2 years ago
I lived in La Ceiba for 6 weeks during the summer of 2005. I attended the Central America Spanish School while I was there and had an absolute blast!! I learned an incredible amount of Spanish in only 6 weeks, met great people from all over the world, and explored a beautiful country. There is so much to do there, especially if you love the outdoors. You can go to the beach, the islands (with crystal clear water and great diving), hiking in the jungle, rafting on the river, zip line tours, canoe tours through the mangroves, there’s a great night life, fun music, great tradition (carnival time is awesome!!!), the best food, and the nicest people you’ll ever meet!!! Soy Hondurena en mi corazon!!!
