When I used to not live in Los Angeles, I visited this place several times with my family to check out the celebrity hand/foot prints and the stars on the sidewalk. A memory that I have of this place when I was 8 years old was of a guy selling these moveable robotic hands (like Thing from The Addams Family). The hands were moving on the sidewalk and they freaked me out. There are a bunch of tourists during the day and it does get crowded.
About two years ago (when I was living in LA), my cousin and I went clubbin at the Knitting Factory (it’s close to Mann’s Chinese Theater). Around 3am, we decided to stop by the Mann’s Chinese Theater because I haven’t been there in a while. It’s waay different during the night because it isn’t crowded and it seems like a totally different place. The sidewalk cleaners were out too and they made the the Hollywood Walk of Fame very slippery (almost fell 3 times).
