My grandparents have lived on HHI for at least 15 years, and as much as I love their house, located on the beach in Port Royal Plantation, I can’t stand Hilton Head. Nothing to do, too much traffic, and yes, lots of old white golfers. Don’t waste your time here. I lived in nearby Beaufort for a long time, and we had the HH kids coming to our small town, just because it is not so ridiculous.
