Ah, France. Yes, I certainly want to come back here. And guess what? It looks very much like next year I will be studying in Lille. For the year! Ha ha. HAHAHAHAHA. Oh dear me, it is too wonderful. I’m thinking of visiting my friend in Germany, travelling the UK, and perhaps popping on down to Spain…. yes, maybe a little unrealistic, but we shall see. To leave AUstralia…. no, it doesn’t concern me so much, I miss travelling too much to say.

Yeah… France was great. I went through Lille on the way from England and then spent about two and a half weeks living in a smallish apartment in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. It was absolutely fantastic! I learnt a whole heap of French and had such a great time! The highlights were going to the Père Lachaise Cemetery (Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, Chopin, Edith Piaf and many more famous people are buried there and it’s also very beautiful, more like a park than a cemetary) and riding around Paris at night. They have this thing every Friday night where they close off some of the inner roads in Paris from cars and hundreds of people on bikes gather at Hotel de Ville. You ride all the way round and see heaps of sights, bike hire is only 6 Euro too, it goes from 10:30pm to about 1am though, so you get very tired. Definitely worth it though. I would really love to go back and live there for a little longer some time later in life. Lol… I now have a fantastic knowledge of the metro system there so if you need any tips…
