I crossed the DMZ under strict supervision of the South Korean and American military. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I will never forget the tension and intensity of being in that zone and it makes me appreciate how difficult it must be for people living in war and conflict zones. I don’t take my freedom for granted.
