New Milford Connecticut — 2 years ago
Sunny enough for me! Esspecially if you have ever spent lengthy time in places like Seattle heh, or England I here.
The winter’s are not overly harsh, as a matter of fact we have not even had a flake of snow fall this year and it is half way through the month of Novermber.
Falls are historically famous here in CT. Many people from around the U.S. hope to visit New England states in the Fall time. If you do plan for that I believe it is about OCT 10-2oth for “Peak” fall leaf colors splashing on the trees.
That leaves spring. Hey! Spring is good enough for me in New Milford CT. The climate for gardening if you are curious is a zone 6B, which for me, kicks butt! Most of my life I was in much colder climates, like Northern Idaho, and now that I am in 6B I am thrilled with my options in comparison. I did not grow ANYTHING this season though, I planted a Willow tree and a pink Hydrangea actually.. anyway I cannot recall or care to remember.
Life through WAY too many curve balls this year, but glad they are done pitching the way I see it! heh Game over. On to the next team. Uh yeah.. New Milford.
When you get here you will see the infamous Housatonic River, you will enjoy that I am sure. They recently built an awesome rowing complex (I do not row) along its banks and many people are loving the recreation.
That is about it for New Milford. Average home price in 2005 is $254,000 yikes!
