“Guìlín shānshuǐ jiǎ tiānxià.” I’d really like to visit Guilin on my next trip to China… and see whether this adage is merited.

“Shàng yǒu tiāntáng, xià yǒu Sū-Háng.” (Lit.: Above is heaven, below are Suzhou and Hangzhou.) Indeed, this metaphorical branding of Suzhou and Hangzhou as a Heaven on Earth is justified.
