My paternal grandfather was a member of the 101st Airborne division that landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day during World War II, so I feel the need to see that part of my family history. Additionally, the pictures I have seen are absolutely beautiful. I have spent a bit of time in the South of France (Nice, Monaco, and Cannes) and I have been to Paris twice, so I am anxious to see what the Northern area is like. I have always had a pleasant experience in France, so it only makes sense to go back and continue practicing my French. ;-)
