Egypt

My sister will be in the South of France from January until June next year writing her second book, and she has mentioned the possibility of going to Egypt during her time over there. (For what, I’m not sure yet. How, I’m not sure of that either. Basically, she told us she wants a guidebook to Egypt for Christmas.) I was planning to try and visit her in France, but if she is going to Egypt as well, perhaps I can tag along on that trip. I would LOVE to see the Pyramids and explore the ancient history of this fascinating country. I love having 4 weeks of vacation with my job! I just have to figure out how to make it work… and make sure my sister doesn’t mind her little sister tagging along. Egypt, wow.

I’ve always wanted to go to Eygpt, because it seems completely different from anywhere I’ve already been. I also have a friend from junior high who was Eygptian, and her pictures were always amazing to me. We’ve talked about going together once she finishes residency and I get settled with a job, and I think that would be an ideal trip, since she is familiar with the place and speaks the language… It just seems like a competely different sort of place, so I’m fascinated. :-) Plus, I really want to see the Pyramids.
