I’m meeting up with some of my old co-workers in Boston the last weekend in July. We’re going to the Red Sox/Yankees game, and I absolutely cannot wait! I’m really excited about seeing my old friends that I miss terribly… and finally getting to visit Boston. This is shaping up to be an incredible summer.

A possible trip in 2008 is in the works...  — 9 months ago

My friend Meghan emailed me today with discussion about a possible trip to Boston in March 2008. She wants to go for St. Patrick’s day weekend, and I’m game whenever. I would like to make a day trip to Salem; I know is kitschy, but I really found the witch trials fascinating. I also want to explore the Freedom Trail, Fenway Park, and I’d really like to enjoy the Boston Commons, though I realize that March will probably be too chilly for that! Here’s hoping that it works out, and I can mark another place off my 43 places list and make room for another.

My mom has a business trip in Boston coming up soon, and I might get to join her. Orginally, it was going to be Alaska… but she decided to let someone else take that one… so, I might be Boston bound relatively soon. Here goes nothing!!

It would be best if the whole job thing could work out this week (I’m interviewing for full time, post degree)... and then I would be assured a trip to Boston… but, we shall see what transpires.
