I have never had so much fun as in Chania, Crete. Hanging out with Glenn and Lou on the beaches, or in the pubs along the harbour. Lorna and Pebbles. Sofia and Tony’s wedding (holy cow, how long can a wedding go???) Evenings up on the balcony of the Royal Sun, looking down at the harbour. Dancing on the bar at the Fun Pub. Suzanne and Petra. Charlie Brown. Einstein’s. Late night souflaki. Spaghetti Carbonara. Greek salads. Wake-ups by Tony at 3am for work. Bat hangs and upside down shots. That woman Elizabeth from Gottenburg who has no respect for personal space. Mopeds. Near-death experiences. Fighting over the check at the German restaurant. “My beer cost more than your coke!” fights. Combat Sent surf & turf orders while combat rules were in effect. Greek dancing. Chess sets. Offering beers to blondes on top floors of hotels, and getting it on film.
