The first time I went to this place — 2 years ago
Two weeks on Samui in May 2006. Just a chilled-out vacation, had fun with some friends, learned scuba diving, visited Ko Tao etc. Stayed on Chaweng which is a bit crowded, and its main street is a bit too touristy for my taste. Didn’t matter much though, I really dug it anyway! Consider taking a tour of the island by renting a taxicab, its relatively cheap for a half-a-day trip (something along like 20 euros, if I recall correctly.)
