Why I want to go to this place — 2 years ago
my great grandfather most likely came from lebanon. from a process of elimination and meeting people who’ve heard of my family in the middle east, we are thinking that my great grandfather came from there. its so hard because no one really knows. but i’d like to go, maybe i’ll find something. or something i never expected to find. what was funny is that i found a family with my last name in jordan who have the same profession as my great grand father and the line of men HE came from. they are probably christian too… funny how i could be related to them AND my fiance’s family is all from jordan… it’s like that predestined puzzle thing all sorta coming together. i like that.
