A review of this place: Beautiful! — 1 year ago
In my most recent trip (Helsinki, St Petersburg, Moscow and Berlin) I’ve found St Petersburg very pretty indeed. I went at Christmas time and we had a white christmas (one day too late, it snowed on 26th Dec 2007!)
The snow here is very different to anywhere else I’ve seen! they actually are snow flakes! absolutely beautiful!!
Anyway, a very beautiful city. Pity the people are not so friendly at the train stations where you buy tickets! we had to go to 5 windows on two seperate days to get someone who would help. My advice, learn Russian before you get there!!! OR buy train tickets to Moscow on the net first! ;)
