Las Vegas

They are having the Grand Opening of the new hotel Palazzo which will be an extension of the Venetian. This week-end.
I met McOscar when I was in Vegas sitting at the coffee shop on my laptop. He lives in CA. We have kept in touch and he has invited me to a few events where he interviews celebs but they are always on school nights when I can’t go.
This time McSmarty and I get to be behind the scenes VIP’s with press passes. When he called me he was already in Vegas I could hear his buddy McCaryGrant say I could stay in his room. He did not get a kiss on the cheek when I met him. He touched my ear which is a “no no” yuck :P
I think my little red dress needs to get out and have some more fun :D
Ps, We are leaving the kids at home this time.

Very hung over Mommy & Daddy ate lunch with the kids down stairs after checking out of the hotel at Quark’s Restaurant. We walked around the gift shops just to take up time before our flight. We did not have enough time to do the whole Star Trek Experience which was kind of expensive. Many people make the pilgrimage just to see this this place. One of the nerds McSmarty works with stayed at this Hilton on purpose just because of the Star Trek Theme.
All in all we had a great time. We did a little bit of everything and there still was lots that we still did not get to do.

Everybody and their brother was in Vegas for the long weekend so going to B-fast and everything else was all about standing in line now :(
McSmarty always stays in Hiltons so he has vip status so we got to stand in the shorter line. lol ;)
I took my nap while McSmarty took the kids on the monorail to the Shark Reef and lunch at Nathan’s Hot dogs. They saw the mini Statue of Liberty at New York New York, which is funny because they just saw the real one earlier this year.
McSmarty and I were going to eat at Margaritaville but it too was crowded. Trevi was a cute place but the ‘outdoor’ seating it was right next to fountain which was very loud and it would be very hard to have a conversation. We saw that they had a Spago’s. I had the best made Cosmo martini :) We asked our waiter how to get to the Dance Club Pure he was really nice and he gave us a VIP card for 2 people to get in for free. Gals are normally $20 and guys are $30. When we got there @ 11 pm we encountered two lines. The really really long line for regular joes and the long line for peeps with the vip cards. McSmarty asked one of the bouncers how we could bypass the line. He came back for me. For $60 and our card we walked right in :)
We were able to catch the last PussyCat Dolls show of the night. Burlesque is all the rage right now in Vegas. There was not any nudity, just dancing with cute little costumes and props. The show is free with admission to the club. Don’t let them tell you otherwise. You can go around the back way they are just trying to scam $5 off you. Each of the rooms play different music. It’s fun to move from room to room for a different vibe. You can also go up on the rooftop where there is fresh air and an awesome view.

We spent Thanksgiving Dinner at Excalibur and watched the Tournament of Kings .We played in the arcade while we waited for the show to start. We went up stairs and stood at the top of the escalator for the commercials to end so McSmarty could see what the score was on the game he had placed a bet on. This security dude came by and told us to get the kids out of the casino. OMFG. We were nowhere near the casino @$$-HOLE! ADD boy left his stuffed toy behind in the seat and when he went back for it, it was already gone. I just went over to the game where he won and explained what happed and the kid gave him the exact same one :)
Hot Tip if you want to cheer for the Bad Guy sit in the Dragon section. Oh my lordy those peeps are LOUD! We sat there because they had the best seats! Who knew we would be cheering on the Evil Knight! The boys(ADD boy, McSmarty and McGiant) all had a blast with it!! We really enjoyed the acrobats but we did not have Wenches serving us. I was very disappointed. They told us to call them Man-Serfs or Man-Wenches LOL!!
We hung back after the show and got pics with the horses. The blue knight wanted to know if I wanted to pet her but I said I was fine.(The kids did) I’m a afraid of horses, they try to knock me off. He said that is just part of riding. I told him I just figured it was me :(
We put the kids to bed. We give them one cell phone upstairs while we have the other one downstairs. I was chatting with this other guy from England and his wife. She told me that the Mc Boys got food poisoning :P That sucks. They had gone to see David Copperfield the other day and she went on
stage and he made her disappear!! Her Hubby told me the other day that they asked her all kinds of questions like” Are you from the media?” I need to ask her if they were aware of all of the controversy going on with him right now? She and I are going to drag our Hubbies go dancing tonight. WEEEE!

B-fast with the kids bla bla bla.
We all sat by the pool but it was a bit chilly today. It was nice in the jacuzzi. I did warn two of the guys in their two steer clear of the water inlet in less they wanted to get a hickey from it…Unless they like that sort of thing ;) Man that thing hurt when it bit me!
One of them came up to me while I was in the internet cafe and asked it the WiFi was free. I told him that I did not recognize him with his ‘clothes on’ tee hee.
I took my nap while the kids watched TV and McSmarty played online…funny how he gets to pay for internet in the room, while I have to come down here for the free crap, with the noise and cigarette smoke. Must be nice to have control of the money.
We had dinner at Canaletto ask to be seated out on the patio. You are indoors but you feel like you are outdoors by the canals in Venice :) They had live music playing. They food and service was just great. I would highly recommend it. There was a wedding reception being held on the balcony upstairs. It was so romantic…sigh.
We went to see Blue Man
We put the sleepy kids to bed and McSmarty and I played some Roulette. My Fav. I introduced him to the ‘surviving’ members of the McBoys from Britain who were playing Roulette & Black Jack McSmarty’s fav game. The one gentleman who owns the restaurant that I speak food & French with( some times we speak French Food LOL) Said,”Your guy knows his stuff about cards” (in not so many words. The drunker he gets the more slang he speaks and the heavier his accent gets and the harder he is to understand :)
I said, “I told you he was a Smarty Pant”
It was cute he was the only on at the table at one point play two hands at a time with $100 chips. I told him, “What are you trying to do, Kick your own @$$?” ;) The female dealer and my hubby were helping him play. He just kept pulling chips out of his pocket….just amazing.
I would go to they other table where McSmarty was playing for a while and this one older gal got a couple 21’s I told her she had a “nice stack” she said, “Thanks, and I have a lot of chips too!” I had go over and give her a High Five on that one!! WAA HAA!! The dealer asked my Hubby if I was bothering him. I’m like What?! I thought about it for a sec? He did see me flitting from the roulette table to two different Black Jack tables. Did he think I was Um “For Hire”?? OMG! It would not be the first time this had happened OR even the second time!!! I told God I hope not he IS my Husband. The he fake goes,”Security” Oh it’s so on LOU!! Lou and I had a feild day making fun of the crazy drunk girl at the table next to us. I thought she was going to get into Fisticuffs with one of the McBoys earlier. The poor pit boss had to come over a few times and cool her down. Their is nothing uglier then a pretty girl who is drunk, loud, cussing, drinking, smoking, gambling.

My Boys from Britain turned into a group of 8 ( my lucky number ;)
I was at the coffee bar when they all met up at the lounge around the corner passing by in dribs and drabbles. They told me that they were taking the limos over to the Venetian for dinner. McSmarty and the kids were going to be at Circus Circus for the rest of the evening and stay for dinner. They wound up eating at the Peppermill that they saw the other day on this silly Mafia Movie. They invited me over for a drink, I had my Cosmo Martini, they all asked what was in it. I told them Vodka, Cranberry juice and Cointreau, a few of them wanted to taste to see if it was fruity and frou frou. I told them it was far from it! LOL!
So I tagged along with my Oceans Eight in one of the two Limos. They ranged in age from their late 30’s to early 60’s. Steve has been coming to the Hilton for the last 14 years and all of these guys are his clients. He builds Hotels. They range from accountants, to restaurant owner, electrician, vineyard owner. Some were straight and some were gay. One was a Barry Fanalow and sang his songs all night. We ate at Tao. Two of them were sharing one pair of reading glasses so I made sure that the gentelman to my left was aware that the Kobe Beef was $150. He was fine with that. One of the other guys had heart burn(he was doing this arm lift thing) so I had the waiter go get some Tums from the bathroom steward.(I had just got some from the gal a few min earlier)I made sure that they knew it was time that the limo was waiting for us. We lost one of the guys when he made a detour to the bathroom some how. So I only sent out one man for him.( I have experience with this and the little Nutellas, if you send out two, then one comes back the you have two out looking OMG!)
Yes, I was the MOM of this group a very MILFy Mom but still the Mom ;) McSmarty got back to the room and I had left a note for him so he had called me while I was at dinner. I told him where I was and who I was with and how I had met them a the pool earlier.
Some of the guys wanted to head back to the hotel and gamble or drink or kick it. Others wanted to drive back out to the strip to find a pub. So we all came back here to regroup. I asked the Limo driver and he gave them the name of a place and that the driver on the next shift would drive them there.
Girls I would normally not recommend doing something like this. I have been around people long enough that I know how to read people.

I bonded with this gal from Laguna Hills who has an Interior Design Business and she also does custom framing. She gave me her card. I may have her do my new Godard :)
I Add 7 people to my kiss 43 people list today…the night is still young.
One was the guy from the America Talks radio show.
The 6 others were six high rollers from England who build Hotels.
I tried to fix them up with the two gals from England sitting next to me at the pool. One of the gal was single and one of the guys was single. They will all be here at the hotel for the next few day so at least I made the introductions ;)
They asked what I wanted to drink and when I said coffee amaretto they called it Christmas cake??
The guys and I got kicked out of the Jacuzzi :P
I told the lifeguard that I did not see the Leisure World sign when I walked into the pool area.

It was great! It makes you just go to a Cirque show every night :D

While I was sitting here these two guys started talking to me. One of them has a radio show about women who cheat on their husbands(Which I found out the other day is what my m-i-l told my b-i-l has been saying about me. He said he did not think I was because he said I’m too lazy. Gee It’s just so nice to hear that they think so Highly of me) and they other one gave me his room number on a napkin and said that he was going to sit by the pool all day.
How the heck did he know about My Topless Martini Goal?

We had a very nice (comped) Brunch at the Las Vegas Hilton where we are staying. They are remodeling the Concierge lounge so we do not have any of the benefits that come with that during our 7 day stay. We are very ticked. They do have a Hilton resorts club but we were not given access :P
We just kicked it until dinner with McGiant. He had to go to the Big and Tall store because they have a dress code at the Top Of the World restaurant that slowly turns while you dine at the Stratosphere. The 3 boys rode the Big Shot BEFORE Dinner ;) The food was tasty but not hot or served in a timely maner. It was not very crowed. There is not any kid food. ADD boy had the Kobe beef that McGiant had been talking up the night before. My Little carnivore was in Meat Heaven. DIY girl had the Caesar salad but it was not a proper one, no croûtons? The kids and I went to the shops down stairs while the boys sat in the bar. I saw a Mermaid slot machine YEA! I went to have the kids take a quick pic of me (I told them to stand at least 3 feet back from the game)This little secuity guard comes up to me and says,”Are these your kids?” I said yes. Are they too close to the machine?” He says,”You are their Mother, You should be home parenting them”
OMG, you guys. I got up got the boys walked out and started crying :`(

I was not sitting there in bra less in a tank top, daisy dukes and flip flops, Drinking and Smoking. I had not even put any money in the machine! I was dress VERY nice with panty hose, low pumps, a skirt, blouse and a sweater that my Grandma wore!!
The kids also were dress following the dress code from the restaurant we gad just left.
We went back to the hotel and visited with McGiant(aka McSmart’s younger hyper brother)Looked through the guide books and went to bed.

We went to Hamada of Japan and sat next to this guy who does some German Radio show and his 12 yr old son. He complained that his kids pallet has become too expensive. I told him to be grateful that he is no longer stuck eating Big Mac. I said He never looked at it that way :) The white kid who did the Benihana style cooking had this Naruto headband on. Both ADD boy(who dressed up as Naruto two Halloweens ago) and this other boy and myself :) noticed it.
We then took a cab down to Fremont street We saw these THREE motorcycles all ride in this round cage at the same time LOL! DIY girl made fun of my face.OMG! I was so scared!
Then we saw one of the guys from Cirque do his floor work…nice :D
They did a LED display with music. That was really neat.

WE bought some stuff including a 43 charm.

The kids and I went to take a cab back to the hotel so that McSmarty and McGiant(who went to Walmart and picked me up a pay-as-you-go-phone because I forgot mine at home in the charger)could go gamgling.When I heard this song playing in a night club,The Canyon(and no cover charge)!!OMG it’s a sign from GOD ADD boy and I started bouncing DIY girl between the two of us She was not very happy about it and the boys had NO clue what the heck we were doing?!The dude at the door told me that kids could get in till midnight so hey if it’s good enough for Peg Bundy it’s good enough for me ;)
McGiant, McSmarty, ADD boy and I danced for one hour(I told them that was all I wanted to stay for) DIY girl would not dance. “I don’t know how” I told her that she could not leave until she danced one dance. That is how you learn. They had this funny and VERY talented Band M80’s
So as the kids and I were leaving it was starting to fill up and there were all these guys out front looking at the kids and I leavingLOL! This one guy goes to ADD boy, who has this cool new shirt, that has sound bars that respond to sound just like your stereo does.(even the dude behind the control board in the club, asked us were we got it)”Hey are you 21?” and my little smarty pants says to him,”I look young for my age,just don’t get too close” I follow up with,”What can I say,”I’m the worlds coolest Mom with the worlds coolest kids.”
Oh yea,I also got my first air brushed tattoo of a heart on my arm. I wanted it someplace a bit more sexy and I wanted the kids and Mc Stickinthemud Smarty to get one but he was giving me this look :P
McGiant said that he wishes that he had gotten temp tats instead of the ones that he got all up and down his two arms when he was in the Army stationed in Germany hanging out with the biker gang. It snowballed into so many problems for him :(
He also confided in me tonight. I have know him for half of his life. We like to give each other a hard time.(Are you going to vote for Hillary?...Why, are you still smoking?) I do worry about him just like I do my Bother and I know he knows I do have his best interests when I bug him about his health. When he calls, I ask if he wears his seatbelt. He did not in the past and went flying throw the truck of his 18 wheeler and they found him in the snow.

I can relax and have fun knowing that Milca is watching the house and our pets :D

Ps I’m going to have to go on the smoking patch when I get home to detox off of all the nasty cigarette smoke :(

Edit- I forgot they had this photo booth where you can get your pics taken with three Chippendale’s dancers. The were talking to DIY girl when we were watching these two older gals just eating it up getting there photos taking. The one guy grabs me and this girl next to me and starts to dance and twirl us. MY family is laughing. I go back to them. The guy goes out, picks me up, and starts taking my pic with this other girl & the two guys. I say, UM we are not together. She nods her head LOL!!!
TOO FUNNY! We did not stay for “my beefcake’ pic to come up on the computer screen. The two older ladies were buying two of everything!!!
