Added / Remove?

I added Vatican, it is an independant state though not with the United Nations. I added Turkey too, like Russia, it is partially in Europe will become a member of the EU in aboat 10 years, is already a part of NATO and the European Market, the Euro will be introduced some day. Some Israelis consider themselves Europeans but that is a bit too far off!

Greenland is part of North America and should be removed, it is a dependancy of Denmark but way across the western border of Europe which is the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. We cannot add the French Islands in the Indian Ocean to Europe!

Greenland

Greenland is not an independent country and it is not in Europe. It is west of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and therefore in North America.

Please don’t add currently dependent areas or federated states.

Though Kosovo declared independence some months ago, it’s not recognized by many countries. I’m not sure what to think or do about it.

Cyprus ??

Cyprus is a big island…but it’s part of Greece and part of Turkey…so therefor I don’t think we can consider it as a contry.

Am I wrong ?

Just a comparison….

Shetland…it’s a group of Islands but as it’s a part of Scoland it’s not a country on its own.

Yes, you are wrong. Cyprus is a EU member state, though its north is occupied by Turkey.
