Trans-boundary sites and representation.
As with the European list, I want to try and not to over-represent sites.
Therefore I’ve listed the Struve Geodetic Arc “in” Finland, since it has 6 geodetic points (beating Sweden and Norway by two). (list). It was also originally proposed by Aarne Veriö of Finland and the National Land Survey of Finland launched the first point in the renewed Arc. (1) I guess the most important points are still the endpoint in Hammerfest in Norway and the first point in The Old Tartu Observatory in Estonia.
And The Kvarken Archipelago / The High Coast I’ve also listed “in” Finland
