Go to ironwood, head north. hit up little girl’s point. North of Bessemer is Copper Peak Ski Flying hill and seven (not sure how many) falls, plus Black River Harbor. skip Lake Gogebic (you have it listed as Gogebic Lake, it’s the other way around), unless you’re camping. there’s a place between Bessemer and Wakefield that was an open pit mine and is now filled mostly with water, called the Open Pit or Open Pit Lake. it’s all privately owned around it but you can see it from the road in Ramsay, ask for directions in either town. The story with the open pit is that when the mine operation stopped, they parked all the vehicles at the bottom and let the water fill it up. Go to the World’s Tallest Indian in Ironwood, too. If you go to the Depot Museum, downtown Ironwood, the people there can give you directions. There’s alot of places to see on my end of the UP.
