WE is a newcomer to Yorkville, occupying a space formerly rented by a cell phone retailer.

• Product: What appears to be a nice range of wines and spirits, well-organized in a relatively small space. The cooler contains wines at a variety of price points.

• Value: I picked up a bottle of Woodbridge Sauvignon Blanc and a small bottle of Myers’s Original Dark for $17.

• Merchandising: The store is brightly lit and fitted with dark wood fixtures.

• Service: The owners are friendly, talkative and interested in getting to know you and your preferences. They’re also willing to research products that are not in stock.

WE could benefit from an increase in traffic. Give it a try the next time you pass through the neighborhood.
