When I was in Costa Rica I saw my first volcano. I was not prepared for just how awesome they actually are. Not only that but there are some nice observatories there that give public tours.

I did Hawaii first then Costa Rica. Funny that I did both for getting to see some new birds and wildlife but was awed by the volcanoes both trips.
Hawaii is so beautiful and the people are so friendly and laid back. The state is running while everyone seems on a permanent vacation.
