was last night!

my friend and i, neenypie, where/are both absolutley skint! so we decided at about 10.30pm to make up a picnic, get in the car and head out into the wilds :D
it was just like being in the famous five… except there where only two of us…and we didnt have a dog? we did consider pup-napping a little dog and naming him timmy but sadly we didnt come across one on the way

the drive up was lovely, a stunning sunset, loads of low cloud to drive through (perfect faerie weather! :P) and a nice bit of Queen to sing along to. class in a glass!
by the time we got there it was pretty dark and knocking on mid-night but we braved the darkness, the bats and the midgies and set up our little blanket and picnic spot… flask of tea (earl grey)... cake… chocolates… chips? :S
all delicious! :D

but then?

we got scared.

really scared!! O_o

and i started having flash backs to every episode of crimewatch i’d ever seen! : o

so, to cut a long story short… we heard a scream?
now, it was probably just one of the bats/foxs/mutants that live in the loch but regardless this was enough for us to go past the point of giggling scared to shoving everything back into the car and driving off at high speed while checking the back seat really was empty :D

still, it was a fun way to spend a friday night :)
