I was here a couple of years ago when this was being built. I’d love to go back and see it completed. From everything I’ve read and seen about it, it is a remarkable, awe-inspiring structure. I’ve seen film of vehicles driving over the clouds: amazing, how cool is that?

That makes me dizzy just thinking about it. I am not a bridge-lover and have to find courage to drive over even meek and mild ones!

I am driving over to France later this month and have planned a route that will take us over this bridge, I hope it’s cloudy.

After looking forward to driving here for so long it was a disappointment that on the only day I had the opportunity to be there the weather was dull, grey, overcast and misty. I could hardly see the bridge. I’ll have to go back again when the weather is better, pity it’s 800 miles from where I live.
