Anyway, it’s the chief town in Siskiyou County and more importantly it’s a major stopping point for anyone taking the car up the I-5—you need gas or food or the like, it’s as good a logical stopping point as any because there’s not much else around for a long stretch. Last time I was in town I saw the Oscar Mayer wienermobile and concluded it was a good omen. Town’s got a web site so check it out if you’d like!
