About Badby Woods

Badby Wood is ancient woodland – it has been growing here for over 700 years. It’s mainly hazel and oak trees and ash with a mixture of birch, elder, honeysuckle, holly and rowan. There are bracken glades, ancient earthworks and a stream. In May and June the floor is a carpet of Bluebells. Very tranquil
