Worth visiting!

Salisbury Cathedral

I happened upon this little English beauty late my first night in Salisbury while wandering around the quiet streets long after everyone else had gone home, taking random pictures of everything foreign, like only a tacky tourist would . When out from around the corner , she showed herself to me, standing tall, proud, and very much majestic in the surrounding greenery .I must say I knew little of her, but I dared to venture a closer look, and chance a feel of the cool stone under my hands. When I heard a sweet sounding melody mixed with my laughter coming from the depths of it’s interior, and I couldn’t help but be drawn in,.... so in the door I slipped…I will not soon forget the softness that reached my ears , as a choir of Angles stood singing with all their hearts , the feeling it gave me,... sent shivers down my back. I wandered through the deserted courtyards, and surrounding area, only later to discover much of where I wandered was off limit to the general public, ... no wonder it was so peaceful and quiet. It was such a tranquil , soul filling path to wander down … and one day I will return , one day,... as the Angles wait to sing me one more song…..

LOL

Thanks GangstaVision ( got me curious on the “Handle” you have for yourself, what does it mean ?.... if it’s not too personal and bold to ask !)Thank you for your encouragement , I only wish I could learn how to type with more than one finger, and at a pace faster than my “Great Grandmother” can run…but sadly I can not,... so my entries are few and far between at times out of pure frustration ..and did I happen to mention how completely computer illiterate I am as well?... Ya I know , great combo eh…would like to get some of the junk out of my head though, and either put it down on paper, or somewhere here….truly amazed anyone reads this babble…(that was a jab at ME , not you ;) ...)...and sadly I have done little to no traveling as of late, (other than in my head that is, and it’s OK, I am seeing a “Doctor” about this, and they are adjusting my medication for me….), but I do plan to get away “Camping” sometime soon , roast me some Marshmallows, get eaten alive by Mosquito’s, hide cowering in my “small” tent from Cougars and bears…you know all the good stuff!..that reminds me, I need to pack my Coat of “Armour”, flare gun, night vision goggles, shovel to dig my “Pit Traps”, “Potato Gun” , 10 pound bag of “Chocolate covered Coffee Beans” ( so I won’t fall asleep at night), and my….

Really?!!

I am completely “Gobsmacked!!” That makes A total Number of “TWO!!” who have listened to My “Babble!!!”...God, I can’t get numbers anywhere near that high around my place!!! ....Two Questions for ya…where do you live? And how do you feel about “Adopting ” a fully grown ( at least in height, still working on the maturity bit) woman , who has a tendency to “Babble” , possible mood swings at certain times of the month, will eat you out of house and home, and can tend to “Dream BIG?!! ...No?...well…How about anyone else you know?!!...as I think my husband may be willing to sign the “Adoption” papers himself just to get things moving along quicker!! ;)

The Little Rascals!

I loved these guys! That was my hair until recently, now I barely have any! I remember froggy too, he was one of my favorite characters.

Sorry just had to add that, totally off the subject.

Certainly not

too bold. This ‘club kid’ I know called me that one day at the coffee shop and I figured it would be a great ‘net name. Plus it’s so not me really. I’ve had a fairly colorful life but I’m a lot more settled now. As for the ‘travel’ stuff, I don’t really get out as often as I would like either. I’d like to get out to go backpacking or biking every weekend but sadly that’s more often in my mind than in reality for me as well. ;)

Missed this one

Somehow I missed this entry, went to cheer it only to find it was written sometime ago! Now I am awaiting an entry about your visit to the Cathedral at Mont St.Michel
