I heard a new branch of Le Pichet is headed for 12th Avenue on Capitol/First Hill. With a new Le Pichet, La Spiga, Cafe Stellina, & Licorous joining Crave and Lark on 12th, one heck of a restaraunt row is in the works.

Le Pichet to open at 12th and Madison

SEATTLE — The owners of Le Pichet, a French restaurant in Pike Place Market, will open Cafe Presse, a French café, coffee shop and wine bar in a former auto garage built in 1919.
Owners Joanne Herron and James Drohman are slated to open their cafe at the 1117 12th Ave. building, just south of the corner of Madison Street, later this year.
It will be among a number of new restaurants in that area on 12th Avenue, said Scott Shapiro, managing director of Seattle-based Eagle Rock Ventures, an owner of the garage building, formerly known as Don’s Automotive.
GTS Development of Seattle is doing a major mixed-use project at 12th and Madison with nearly 200 residential units and about 16,000 square feet of retail.
