somewhere in Tuscany we stopped in a town with a pretty town square, and went into shops that sold all kinds of things that were fascinating to me and my sister as kids in 1989, but was covered with signs that said ‘bambini non tocare!’ (sp?), meaning, ‘children, don’t touch!‘). It was so disappointing, particularly when the prices of things were underneath the items, so you couldn’t read it without picking it up and thus touching it.
