Why I recommend this place to visitors

This is the best small town in the world. Everyone is so friendly and helpful to one another… There is one red light in my city.. Everybody knows everybody… it is a wonderful place to live where within minutes you can be at the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches ,, or in the cotton fields..you can go to Pensacola the big city … or stay in Jay and be as country as you wanna be… horseback riding, motorcycle and four wheeler riding..mud riding, cow tipping!! haha anything you could want in a small town….

I love it here and the Peanut Festival they have the first weekend in October is one of the best festivals I have been to here in Florida. My kids attend the high school and have a steady stream of friends coming over all the time, its nice to know their friends and their parents. When a huricane does wreak havoc, we all pitch in to help each other out.
Nice walking into the country store and have people say “Hey”, and not just ask how you are but really show concern for your general welfare, you would never find this in a big city.
