Worth visiting!

Moving to Wolfville

Wolfville is a small town in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley. It’s a beautiful place in a rural farming area and it is also the home of Acadia University.
I moved to Wolfville five years ago from Fredericton, New Brunswick (where I was born) to take a job in Windsor, Nova Scotia and my wife and I couldn’t find a house in Windsor that we liked. It was cloudy and cold every day when we were house hunting. Then one day we went further up the Valley to Wolfville and as we went over a hill the sun came out and we saw a big chunk of the Valley spread out before us and we knew that we’d find a place somewhere around here.
It’s a great place to live and it has a movie theatre owned by a cooperative and they show art house films. For the first time in years I can walk downtown and see great films. There are also many great restaurants in Wolfville.

Carry on!

My in-laws have just bought a house in Wolfville (coming from the depth of Florida, no less) and while doing some research, I’ve really enjoyed your entries on the town.

Please, more!

Wolfville

ok.
I’ll write more about the lovely town of Wolfville soon.
I’m glad that you like the entries and it’s nice that we’ve got some more people moving here “from away” (as some people say here).
