Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Day trip to Crna Gora

I only visited on a day trip from Dubrovnik, “Montenegro Blue” (Atlas), including Perast, Island of St. George (in the photo), Sveti Stefan and the lovely walled towns of Kotor and Budva, but it is absolutely beautiful and I will certainly return. Also, Montenegro uses the euro which is very convenient!

side trip to montenegro

how did you do it? Was there an excusion from a travel bureau or did you do it yourself?
Can you take a train there from Dubrovnik?

Day trip (Montenegro Blue) by bus with Dubrovnik-based tour-operator Atlas tours, if you google it should come up: you can reserve and pay in advance via their website, even. You can’t take a train from Dubrovnik as it isn’t on any railway line, but you can apparently take a bus to the border and then a Montenegrin bus on the other side. This would probably go to Kotor and possibly Budva (my favourite), but not include the stops at Perast or Sveti Stefan.
Have a great trip if you go!
