The Frank Erwin Center is also called “The Drum” because of it’s shape.

I’ve been to the following concerts at the Frank Erwin Center:

• The Cure (twice)
• Smashing Pumpkins and Garbage
• Counting Crows and The Wallflowers

I also had to go there to register for classes at The University of Texas just before they switched to a telephone registration system called TEX.
