To any Hamilton, Montana cowboys out there who are enjoying my 43things entries, please note that I have been happily married to the father of my two children for over 14 years and am not about to abandon them for a Montana cowboy lifestyle. But thank you for the interest, it was flattering.

But seriously, I’ve went to Albuquerque (& Santa Fe) on a business trip; where’d you all get all that SUN?!? My gawd, I thought my eyes were trying to burrow themselves in my grey matter, since my eyelids + sunglasses weren’t giving enough protection! :-O
Needless to say, I was a very scary driver if I had to go out between sunrise & sunset. I learned the first day to get to the office before 7:15 a.m. Northern VA has lots of nice tree cover!

Don’t feel bad, that’s a common reaction from you Eastern types upon arrival in the West. Those of us who have been here a while even dispense with the sunglasses.
Of course, what used to be crows feet around our eyes have long since turned into flock of crows running a foot race…
