Skopje

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place  — 2 years ago

Skopje is divided into two by the river Vardar. Do not spend your time on the side so called “New City” since it is an unsuccessfull imitation of some European cities. The people can not complete this imitation, they are in contrast.
But go and visit “Old City”, which was founded 550 years ago by the Ottoman Empire. In the old city, most of the people are Turkish and there you see the real kindness and hospitality.

Just a fanatic Turk

It is funny to see something like this written by a Turk. I can say and sign it that 90% of Turkey is the most uncivilised land i have ever been to and has nothing to do with Bulgaria. The people…no comment. And some fanatic Turks from those who kept Bulgaria in slavery for 500 years will apparently never get over it that Bulgaria is a much more beautiful and civilised country than Turkey, with much friendlier and nicer people. Bulgaria is worth it.

Albanians(turks)and Macedonians.
