certainly inexepensive and if you take the time to learn just a wee bit of russian, the people are incredibly generous.
the city is built on a massive scale and the subway is the most efficient and beautiful i have ever used.
be sure to immerse yourself in life of the city – i reccommend visiting in winter for the incredibly dark and cold days which certainly make ice cream cones last longer.
