I was walking downtown in Wolfville with a friend a week ago and we were hungry and thought that we’d stop in to the Taj Mahal Restaurant for some great Indian food. But it was closed and started walking back down Main Street to somewhere else to eat. We met the owner as we walked and said that we stopped by and she was sorry that they didn’t open for another couple of hours. She said she could heat some pakoras up for us, but we said it was ok, we were going to get a larger meal. Then she said, “I’ll cook for you,” and off we went for a lovely lunch, 2 hours before the restaurant officially opened. That’s one of the things I love about living in a small town like Wolfville, the people are nice and friendly.
