Hovsgol lake is the second largest freshwater lake in the world. Hovsgol lake area is also famous for the ethnic groups living in it. Darkhad and Reindeer families inhabit there.

The lake Hovsgol has a one wonderful island which is a home for the many interesting waterbirds. Also there has a one of the unique ethnic group the named Reindeer families. The background is a very reasonable destination for the horse trek and yak trip bottom of foothills.
