In Akihabara there are stores with Japanese products for foreigners, visitors, US soliders and the like. They come with english instructions to boot.

Devote a lot of time to visit the store because most have multiple stories.

Look in the discount bins and for sales. You’ll find many things that are new or have not yet made it to North America for cheap.
