Was back in 2004 for a student conference that drew thousands of Christian students from Europe and Asia to the city. The conference was a snooze-fest, the town most definitely was not. We spent our time wandering the streets, enjoying the great beer and coffee and I’d love to return some day. As Hungary matures as an EU citizen I imagine we’ll be hearing a lot more about Gyor as a tourist destination.
