Ive been going here since I was very little and in those days you could actually walk on the Acropolis. I still love it up there, the views are great. But be warned, last time I was up there, someone went behind one of the ropes to take a picture, which are there to stop people climbing on the ruins . This resulted in one of the security guards taking the camera, ripping the film out and throwing it over the side.

Athens is a wonderful place, its one of those places everyone should go to at least once.
