Fight! Force your leaders to do something about this crisis. Put political pressure on your government to step in (as they are currently discussing within the United Nations). The US has already called the atrocities in Darfur a genocide. And keep raising awareness. Especially in the media. Write a letter! Tell your newspapers to publicise what’s going on, because if people don’t know, they can’t step up and make a difference.

Don’t just leave it at one email. There is incredible inertia in our governments, in the U.N., to do nothing. Please don’t let it be said that you or I just wrung our hands and wasted time regreting or fretting.
