I think you might be interested in some pure, paris attractions. Here they are:
1. Eiffel Tower—no comment:)
2. Avenue des Champs Elysees – Two kilometers long and bordered by trees, this avenue has become the center for festivities and official parades.
3. Louvre – This building has dominated central Paris since the late 12th century and was originally a royal palace. A museum since 1793, it houses one of the greatest collections of art in the world.
4. Palace of Versailles – The royal château of Frances’ rulers. Outside the gates, the village of Versailles, France has grown to become a full-fledged city.
5. Notre Dame—This cathedral is almost nine hundred years old. It is the cathedral that played a key role in Victor Hugo’s Hunchback of Notre-Dame. Find it on the Ile de la Cité, an island in the Seine River that is the original birthplace of Paris
6. Arc de Triomphe – Located in the centre of the Place de L’Etoile, at the western end of the Champs-Elysees, at the end of a series of monuments leading from the courtyard of the Louvre Palace on a route heading out of Paris.
7. Latin Quarter—Taking its name from the language spoken by university scholars in medieval times, the Quartier Latin is a loosely defined area comprising most of the 5th district east of the boulevard St-Michel.
8. Gardens of Luxembourg—The gardens of Luxembourg surround the Palace of Luxembourg. This large park astonishes its visitors with harmonious paths and the beauty of its flowers.
9. Montmartre—A hill in the north of Paris in the 18th district primarily known for the white-domed Basilica of the Sacre Coeur on its summit.
10. Moulin Rouge – The most famous cabaret in the world. It still produces shows in grand style.
You don’t want to miss not any of them, believe me.
If you want to book your room before you go in Paris, I have found www.reviewshotels.com to be a simple but useful website to compare many hotels in Paris. There are nice hotels to choose from. Good luck!
I hope that will help you in your journey!
Cheers,
