I agree that krabi/ao nang is beautiful- the countryside and the seaside.
I too feel it’s a bit spooky, no more so when i visited phi phi … though things are brightening up and it’s starting to feel better.

Rayavadee resort: I watched it grow over the last few years. It looks potentially beautiful but i fear that there is too much accommodation there (it would be over-crowed. )
Last time i saw that area was just before they opened- it was amazing just how many workers busy bulding.
