Worth visiting!
This is a fantastic art museum. It is well laid out, and the collection is incredible. There are three very large floors of art. I was there for three hours, and I have probably only made it through a quarter of the collection. I was very impressed. Check out the website to get a taste of everything they have.

I agree with Daniel that is a great picture of the city. I love the MIA and you can’t beat the cover charge (Free). I usuaully give them a 10 spot just to support the fact they have a great museum and make it available to anyone who wants to wander through.
The “old” stuff is more my style than the Walker (sounds like on your other post you are in a similar boat). At the Walker I love the sculpture garden more than the museum, plus the garden is just open so you can spend 5 minutes or 5 hours there depending upon your mood.
