Worth visiting!

I live next door

in C d’A’s small-town cousin. This place is beautiful, and there’s a ton to do. Can’t say much about the nightlife because I’m old and dry, but if you like outdoors this is a great spot-kayaking, hiking, biking-and there’s art to be seen. My favorite is the glassblowing exhibition shop/coffee house…You can get a drink (not just coffee—some nice sodas and stuff) and watch the guys make something in the glass-walled studio.

What's the small town cousin?

Is it a nice place to live? Is the winter horendous?
What is Post Falls like?
Thanks! :)

Great place to live while it lasts; building is rampant. Post Falls is similar, less woodsy and more prairie-ish, river instead of lake.

Horrendous? I don’t think so—but maybe you generally dislike winter. The trees are beautiful with snow on them. If anything there’s not quite enough snow, and the temps are a few degrees too high (hate a gorgeous snow that melts off in two days!)

The only bad things about winter, imo, are clueless drivers and anti-lock brakes.
