Worth visiting!
I went as an exchange student when I was 10 and although it was only for a month, I had a great time there: my host family were really caring, the students at school were really friendly, all this when I barely understood a few phrases in english at the time! I would LOVE to go back sometime…

I will participate in Work and Travel Program and I hope to spend my summer 2006 in Steamboat Springs.
I heard different things about this place-but can you tell me more pls-
have you any idea which are the average temperatures in summer as I heard it is hot in the afternoons and cold in evenings, and it even can snow at the end of September the beginning of October, is it true?
What did you like most there and think it is worth seeing?

hello, I’m sooo sorry I didn’t answer to you before.. hope I’m not too late.. Well, both times I have been there I was on january and march so I have experimented mainly the winter weather, all of this really cool and relaxing.. Being there at that time made feel like in a hallmark christmas card (the wooden small houses, snowmans, snow all around).. I’m really sorry not being able to help you with information about summer but I really don’t know (although I heard is really nice, specially in the air balloons) ..
Anyway, people there are really nice and I have great memories from back there… I hope you get the chance to visit, it’s really nice!
