Where's Lake Woebegon? by Taylor

The story I heard many years ago is that when Minnesota became a state the governor hired four Finlanders to work on a map, with the idea that each would start at a corner and work toward the center of the state. But they made the mistake of paying them in advance, and naturally they went out and got drunk. When the Finlanders turned in their maps, the corners in the center overlapped. Legend has it that if you pick up the corner of the top map and look underneath, you’ll see Lake Woebegon.
