I can't decide! by snowberry

I was in Brass City a weekend ago to catch the last tour of Les Miserables. It is a boring town, but it does have some history worth revisiting. For example, they were a major brass producer, button producer, as well as clocks manufacturer. The Mattatuck Museum is nice, but worth visiting is the Timex Museum, which I missed =O(

Great place to stop for a few hours if you’re driving through.

Waterbury

To go ...or not to go.."That" is the question!

I was born in New York City — raised there and in the Dom. Rep. and moving to Waterbury four years ago was definitely a rough transition, but in the end it has indeed been well-worth it. As the years go on by I tend to discover new things about this strange yet amazing city. For instance, moving into my house which is located in the Overlook Historic District I knew it was built in 1919. I found that so fascinating because you can just tell how old a home is by looking at its architecture. A few years living here I discovered that I currently live in the former house of the former President of the Brass Company. In Waterbury, long ago we were quite famous for brass production in the entire world! Knowing that someone that important rested in my very own humble home excites me! I also attend the University of Connecticut in which is downtown and am employed in the Brass Mill Center Mall which is 3 minutes away. Everything is so close and this city is so small but so convenient. Sometimes tranquil environments are good for the mind. Waterbury is def. one of them!
