Worth visiting!

This place should not be missed

The Musee Mechanique is one of the world’s largest collections of mechanically operated musical instruments and antique arcade machines. It used to be housed at Cliff House, but has now been moved to Pier 45. This place is one of the few reasons I will go to Fisherman’s Wharf. We take all of our out-of-town guests here because it is a fun and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon. The machines themselves are wonderful – some are weird and kind of creepy, some are beautifully crafted, and some are just plain fun. I highly recommend that you visit the Musee Mechanique whether you are a visitor to San Francisco or a resident.

Thank you

I just moved here, and this is totally up my street. If one is into mechanical musical instruments another not-to-be-missed venue (if you happen to be in the area) is the House on the Rock near Spring Green, WI. Creepy doesn’t really begin to describe that experience.
