Bellingham

I love the museum in Paris

Why not dream of going to the one in Pennsylvania.

why not indeed?

Thanks for cheering me on to see Bellingham, WA.
I live so close to Phila that it is a proper disgrace I haven’t seen the Rodin museum yet…and have wanted to for some time. So, I have a few weeks off soon between semesters and will go down there. I am promising myself!

By the way, I met a really nice guy via eharmony that lives in Bellingham – got interested in learning about Bellingham as I don’t recall ever hearing of it before…the city of subdued excitement!
thanks – pat

I hope both trips enchant you!

It’s funny how sometimes when we live close to something cool we take it for granted and don’t go see it. I guess that’s like me and Orca Whales. I’ve always really wanted to see an orca whale and they live right out in the water near me, but I haven’t gone out and really tried to see one much (in all fairness I don’t like the cruise boats that interfear with the whales—I want to see one from a whale watching park, but have I gone? Not much) So… You should definitely check out the Rodin Museum, I bet it’s super cool (I can’t believe I didn’t know about it when I’ve been to Philadelphia before) and you will gain the beautiful satisfaction of knowing you are enjoying the best of your own area.

And… You should definitely come to Bellingham. It’s a beautiful little city with friendly people, beautiful trails, views, mountains, water; it’s just really nice here. If you come here, I reccomend the spring or the summer - It doesn’t get any better than a summer sunset over Bellingham Bay. Our long summer days are wonderful and the pink blossoms on the trees in spring are delightful. The San Juan Islands (close by - where you can sometimes see whales in the spring) are lovely as well, one of the most lovely places you can imagine!
Enjoy! and Good Luck!

sounds delightful

My only female cousin is planning a trip with her brother to Seattle this year, and they have invited me to join them. Depends on the dates and funds, of course, but I am thinking of it, and hope to detour up to BHam….
(I have a sister living in Oregon, so that is part of the trip, too….)
Thanks for your encouragement. Good luck with the whales…that would be something to see!
